JAMESTOWN – City police have made an arrest in a drive-by shooting incident that took place earlier this week near the downtown. Officers say 22 year old Jean Carlos Jiminez-Comacho of Jamestown was arrested yesterday following an investigation into the incident. During the investigation, police were able to locate the 2002 Ford Explorer that was seen in the location of the shooting on Chandler St. around 10:30 Tuesday morning. The incident involved eight shots being fired in the area, with no injuries taking place. Through the investigation, police also determined that Jiminez-Camacho allegedly fired eight shots with a .22 caliber pistol. Police also believe they are now in possession of the weapon that was allegedly used in the shooting. Jiminez-Camacho was charged with reckless endangerment and is currently awaiting arraignment.
