JAMESTOWN – With the weather cancelling last week’s Women Create Salon, a fourth artist is being added to tonight’s Salon inside the Reg Lenna’ s 3rd on 3rd Gallery.

Artists for tonight’s salon will be Christy Johnson of Panama, New York, Jodi Staniunas Hopper of Erie, Catherine Panebianco of Jamestown, and Sandy Shelenberger of Conneaut, Ohio.

All these artists, whose creations are on display at Women Create, the second biennial juried exhibit of women’s art, will give brief talks about their work, interspersed with questions, answers, and conversation.

Also rescheduled from last week, SUNY Fredonia sculpture student Emily Breedlove from Freeville, New York, and artist Ellen Paquette of Warren, Pennsylvania, will participate in the final Salon on Wednesday, March 26.

Tonight’s salon opens begins at 7 p.m. and continues until 9 and is open to the public.

Women Create is presented in cooperation with the Reg Lenna Center for the Arts and sponsored by the Cattaraugus County Arts Council, Infinity Visual and Performing Arts, and Quick Solutions. The Salons are sponsored by Forbici Hair Design on Foote Avenue Extension in Jamestown.
