JAMESTOWN – Chautauqua County may be through with winter, but winter isn’t done with Chautauqua County. A Winter Storm Watch has been issued for Chautauqua County with anywhere from 9 to 16 inches of total snowfall expected over the next 24 hours.
As a result of the storm watch, city, town and county snow crews are scrambling to get ready by attaching plows to vehicles and bringing in additional people. The possible winter storm could also bring multiple power outages to the area, depending on how heavy the snowfall will be and how it will affect tree branches near power lines.
