West Third Street between Washington and Cherry Streets is expected to remain closed for the time being following the collapse of bricks off the Hotel Jamestown Building Sunday night.
Director of Development Crystal Surdyk said the Jamestown Housing Authority has brought in R.E. Kelley out of Buffalo who had done other brick work for them in the past to assess the stability of the facade. She said the damage is cosmetic with no structural integrity issues for the building.
