KIANTONE – The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in its investigation into a multiple stabbing incident that happened early Sunday morning at a large party in Kiantone. According to a report filed by the Sheriff’s Department, the stabbings happened just before 1:30 a.m. at 447 Hall Road. Authorities say one person was stabbed in the abdomen and was being treated at WCA Hospital, while another person was stabbed in the back and taken first to WCA Hospital and then flown to ECMC in Buffalo. A third person was assaulted, suffered a neck injury and was taken to WCA Hospital and then flown to the Hamot Medical Center in Erie. The names and conditions of the victims have not been made available.
Lakewood-Busti PD, Ellicott PD, Carroll PD and the NYSP all assisted at the scene. The investigation is continuing and police are continuing to seek information on anyone who was involved in the incident. Anyone with information is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office at 753-2131.
