CHAUTAUQUA – Two people were taken to the hospital over the weekend after an auto accident took place on Route 394 in the town of Chautauqua. Sheriff Deputies the accident took place Saturday afternoon at about 4:15 pm. Officers say 33 year old Andrew Stone of Jamestown was traveling west on Rt 394 and missed a location he intended to stop at. Stone then pulled over to the side of the road and then attempted to reenter the roadway, pulling out in front of an east-bound vehicle operated by 51 year old Pamela Kemp of Erie. The two vehicles then collided. Both Stone and Kemp’s 16 year-old passenger were taken to WCA for injuries. Stone was also charged for failure to yield right of way.
