Red Bull TV’s Pat Moore was in Jamestown earlier this year to find out what the Pearl City had to offer for a snowboarder always searching for opportunities off the beaten path. And boy did he find it.
Despite our city having more portraits of Lucille Ball than actual locales designed for snowboarding, Moore and his team made the most of their trip to our fair city and put together a wonderfully captivating episode for his online Pat Moore: Blueprint series.
VIDEO DESCRIPTION: Lake effect snow and arctic temps brought the Blueprint crew on an exploratory mission to upstate New York where crumbling industrial architecture and barren streets were waiting to be assaulted. Searching for spots with Pat, Jeremy Jones, Jake Welch, Seth Huot, we ride shotgun as the crew sets them up & settles them in quick succession. Roofs, walls, parking structures, trees, stairs, gaps, & all sorts of concrete—they hit everything. They also share thoughts on teamwork and the importance of the crew dynamic.
ABOUT: Pat Moore is well known for being a snowboarding beast when it comes to back-country and urban terrain. We get an inside look at Pat’s life as he travels in search of new terrain for his latest film and is joined by some of his biggest snowboarding influences and closest friends along the way.
