WARREN – The Jamestown Post-Journal is reporting that the Warren County School Teachers union and school district administration have reached a tentative “conceptual agreement.”
According to a weekend article in the Post-Journal, the agreement was announced Saturday by the Warren County Education Association and Warren County School District.
While not considered final, the deal does move toward a return to classes for students, teachers and staff within the district. Saturday’s announcement came following a meeting between both sides earlier in the day.
The parties will continue working, according to the release, to craft the final document for consideration and possible approval by the union members and the board. No time line has been established for a return to school.
The strike began Oct. 6 and included 370 teachers and educated professionals.
