JAMESTOWN – Volunteers are still needed to help with the construction of new playground equipment at Lillian Dickson Park on Falconer Street. The Friends of Lillian Dickson Park group will be meeting on Saturday and working throughout the day to build the playground.
Work begins at 8 a.m. Volunteers are asked to bring gloves, shovel, rake and ratchet (socket wrench handle). There will be a port-a-john, refreshments and lunch for workers. Weather is supposed to be ideal but work will proceed even if it isn’t.
