JAMESTOWN – United Way of Southern Chautauqua County has surpassed the $1,000,000 fundraising threshold and is in the home stretch for finding every dollar they can to reach their $1,335,000 community commitment goal. Current fundraising efforts have reached a total of $1,089,195.
“We’re grateful for the community support,” said United Way of Southern Chautauqua County Executive Director Amy Rohler.
“Our volunteers and United Way staff should be proud of their work,” added Campaign Chair Kurt Eimiller. “These next few weeks are vital to finish strong.”
Officials are asking local residents to consider United Way of Southern Chautauqua County when making your year-end gift, adding that 100 percent of every donation remains in Southern Chautauqua County and 85 cents of every dollar goes directly to 39 community based programs administered by 26 local community partners.
United Way of Southern Chautauqua County is located at 208 Pine Street in Jamestown.
