JAMESTOWN – The United Way of Southern Chautauqua County has kicked off its 2017 campaign with a goal of $1,325,000.
The 2017 campaign goal is $25,000 higher than the 2016 goal. Last year’s campaign exceeded its goal, raising a total of $1,338,652.
Beyond the total contribution goal, the United Way of Southern Chautauqua would also like to bring the total donors to 2,800 people.
Officials say every dollar contributed to the United Way of Southern Chautauqua stays in the community, providing funding to 25 community partners to support 41 local programs.
