JAMESTOWN – A traffic stop in Jamestown Monday turned up two pounds of methamphetamine.
Jamestown Police say 22 year-old Zackiel Fields and 26 year-old Ernest Cauley were stopped Monday afternoon following an investigation into the sale and trafficking of narcotics in the city.
During the stop, police found two pounds of meth in the car. Both Fields and Cauley are facing felony charges of criminal possession of a controlled substance and are being held in Jamestown jail.
The investigation is continuing and additional charges are expected, police say.
