JAMESTOWN – Two Jamestown residents have been arrested on charges related to drug trafficking, including illegal possession of a firearm.
On Wednesday the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Buffalo said 33-year-old Douglas Beardsley and 18-year-old Camille Lopez were arrested and charged by criminal complaint with possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, possession of a firearm during a drug trafficking crime, and possession of stolen firearms.
In addition, Beardsley is charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm.
The charges came after a search warrant was executed at the defendants’ residence at 70 Forest Avenue in Jamestown.
The charges carry a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison and a $1,000,000 fine.
