JAMESTOWN – Two Jamestown men face drug charges after being arrested at separate locations on Thursday afternoon.
According to Jamestown Police, members of the Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force executed two search warrants after an investigation into drug trafficking in the city.
The first search warrant was executed at about 1:30 p.m. at a basement apartment at 295 Willard St. A second search warrant was executed around 3:30 PM at 6 N. Main St. A quantity of heroin and cash was seized at both locations by investigators.
Police say 35 year old Lynn Jackson Jr. was arrested on at the apartment on Willard St while 45 year old Julio Melendez II was arrested at the N. Main St apartment.
Both men were charged with criminal sale of a controlled substance and are being held without bail in the Jamestown city jail.
