JAMESTOWN – Two city men are in jail following two drugs raids that took place in Jamestown Tuesday morning.
City police say the raids took place at about 6 a.m. at residences located at 734 E. Second St. and 801 W. Fifth St. They say both raids were conducted with a warrant following an investigation into alleged drug activity.
Arrested at the Second St. residence was 31-year-old Rashid Jabbar, who allegedly had a quantity of cocaine and drug paraphernalia.
Arrested at the Fifth St. residence was 24-year-old Devonte Chandler, who allegedly had a quantity of cocaine, bath salts, prescription pills and a stun gun.
Both men were taken to Jamestown City Jail to await arraignment.
