JAMESTOWN – Two Jamestown residents were arrested last Friday morning on drug charges following an investigation by local police.
City police say 29 year old Maranda Lopez and 41 year old Clarence Carte were arrested following a drug investigation at the upper apartment at 310 E. 6th St. just before 6:30 a.m. Friday morning.
Police say the investigation found a large number of prescription pain medication and amphetamines inside the apartment. Both were arrested on related drug charges. Lopez was also charged with two counts of child endangerment because her children were also in th apartment. The two were sent to the city jail to awaiting arraignment.
