JAMESTOWN – City police have arrested two men for possession of stolen weapons, stolen property, and drugs.
City police say the arrests of 52 year-old Bernard Philbrick Jr. and 25 year-old Kyle Lewis took place Monday morning following an investigation and execution of a search warrant at 108 Crescent St.
During the investigation, police say they found multiple stolen items, including a 12-gauge shotgun, a laptop, and a large machete – which were reportedly taken from a nearby residence. In addition, police allegedly found a quantity of methamphetamine.
Both Philbrick and Lewis were charged and sent to the city jail to await arraignment. A third individual was also arrested on a bench warrant.
