JAMESTOWN – Officials with The Resource Center have announced an ambitious project that when completed will provide healthcare to the entire community.
On Tuesday Resource Center executive Director Paul Cesena announced the STARS capital campaign, a major fundraising effort aimed at improving TRC’s healthcare facilities, which provide care to those most vulnerable in the community. STARS stands for System Transformation with – Accountability, Results and Satisfaction.
The STARS project will cost a total of $5.1 million. TRC has invested about $1.5 million into the project so far and needs to raise an additional $3.6 million.
Once completed, officials say the project will provide better access to care for the community, leading to improved personal outcomes, expanded economic vitality and overall cost savings to the broader system of health care.
