GERRY – Three people have been arrested on drug charges following a traffic stop on Gerry-Ellington Road in the Town of Gerry.
New York State Police say a vehicle was pulled over yesterday for a traffic violation and during the traffic stop, the Troopers observed syringes, a tray containing methamphetamine and marijuana inside the vehicle in plain view. Police also learned that the driver, 40-year-old Todd Witt of Stockton, was driving on a suspended license.
A passenger in the vehicle, identified as 38-year-old Brandi Howard of Sinclairville, was wanted by the city of Jamestown Police Department. Meanwhile the other passenger, 26-year-old Gary Warren of Jamestown, was also wanted for violation of probation.
All three suspects were arrested for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree, Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia 2nd Degree, Criminally Possessing a Hypodermic Instrument and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana.
The were arraigned in the town of Charlotte Court and sent to the county jail.
