FREDONIA – Three Fredonia residents are facing charges stemming from a home invasion and robbery that took place last month in the village.
The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office says that 20 year-old Stephen Meyers, 18 year-old John Dewey and 19 year-old Justin Schreier are facing charges of robbery, burglary, menacing and petty larceny charges for their connection to a home invasion incident that took place at an apartment at 42 Eagle Street on August 19.
The three are accused of wearing bandannas over their mouths and entering the apartment with hammers and threatened the occupants. They then made off with money and other undisclosed items.
All three have been arraigned in Fredonia Village Court and sent to the county jail.
