JAMESTOWN – City police have shut down another meth lab in the city.
According to police captain Robert Samuelson, three individuals were taken into custody Tuesday after police discovered a meth lab in the basement of a home at 840 E. Second St.
Investigators with the Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force and New York State Police raided the basement apartment shortly after 11 a.m. and found materials and substances used in the production and manufacturing of meth, along with a quantity of meth.
Charged in the investigation were:
- Donald King, 36 – Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, 3rd.
- Richard Philbrick, 29 – Unlawful manufacture of Methamphetamine, 3rd; 2 counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, 3rd.
- Amanda Penhollow, 28 – Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, 3rd; 2 counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, 3rd.
The New York State Police Contaminated Crime Scene Emergency Response Team was called to the scene to remove the hazardous materials.

Amanda shouldn’t have gotten out but she did now she is right back in there. Now he has to wait to go to court on the 19th when he was suppost to have court on 10-29-15 but it got cancelled.
