JAMESTOWN – Motorists on the west side of town who use the third street bridge will want to give themselves a little extra time heading into and out of downtown Jamestown.
City DPW Director Jeff Lehman has announced that that beginning this morning the NYS DOT will begin repair work on the Third Street Bridge – also know as the Jamestown Veterans Memorial Bridge.
Traffic will be reduced to two lanes with two-way traffic, until repair work is completed.
The public is reminded to use extra caution while driving and walking near all construction areas.
