FALCONER – A Car-bicycle accident in Falconer near the city line sent a teenager to the hospital Saturday night.
A media release from the Ellicott Police Department says the incident took place at about 9:50 p.m. on Saturday when a 14 year-old male bicyclist, whose name is not being released, was struck by a car on West Main Street in Falconer at the intersection with Tiffany Ave. An investigation found the bicyclist was crossing Main St. on his bike when he was struck by a vehicle operated by Stephanie Daniels.
The teenager was taken to WCA and the Starflighted to Buffalo Children’s Hospital. He was last reported in stable condition.
Daniels was ticketed for operating with a suspended NY State Driver’s License.
Falconer firefighters, as well as police and EMS crews from Alstar and Gerry, responded. Ellicott police were also assisted by the Jamestown Police Department, Lakewood-Busti Police, and the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office.
