JAMESTOWN – City residents who want to meet informally with their state, county, and city representatives will have the opportunity to do so Tuesday night on the city’s north side.
City Councilman Andrew Liuzzo (At Large) has organized the “Ask Us” event scheduled at Love School to allow residents to meet with local officials and ask questions about various issues facing the community.
There are no speeches, no podium, no agenda. It’s not a campaign or political event,” Liuzzo said during Monday night’s City Council Voting Session. “It’s to give the residents of the city of Jamestown an opportunity to talk face to face with the officials that affect our daily life here in Jamestown.”
Liuzzo says he has invited public officials from the city, county, and state governments including Senator Cathy Young, Assemblyman Andy Goodell, County Executive George Borrello, and members of the Chautauqua County Legislature and City Council, along with city department heads.
The event will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
