JAMESTOWN – The Jamestown Post-Journal is reporting that Voters in the Southwestern School District have approved a capital improvements project and an energy performance contract in a special vote held on Tuesday.
Both propositions were passed by voters with 169 voting yes and 44 voting no for the capital improvements project; and 179 voting yes and 34 voting no for the energy performance contract.
In total, the proposed project will cost $13.9 million and is made up of facility renovations and an energy performance contract that accounts for $1.3 million of the total cost.
