MAYVILLE – Two men have been arrested following an investigation into a series of burglaries throughout Chautauqua County.
The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office says 25 year-old Joshua Link of Fredonia and 50 year-old Kevin Weary of Cassadaga are accused of targeting several businesses over a two-month period. The businesses were located across Chautauqua County, including Jamestown, Panama, Stow, Bemus Point, and Pomfret.
Both Link and Weary have been charged with third-degree burglary, while Weary was also charged with fifth-degree possession of stolen property.
The two men have been arraigned and are being held in the Chautauqua County Jail on $25,000 and $40,000 bail, respectively.
Sheriff Joe Gerace says the investigation continues and other arrests are expected.
