MAYVILLE – The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office has charged two individuals for allegedly making methamphetamine in separate investigations.
On January 1 at about 2 p.m., Sheriff deputies arrested 34 year-old Shaun Ellison at his home at 8 Lodi St. in Forestville. Ellison was picked up on an arrest warrant charging him with Unlawfully Manufacturing Methamphetamine in the 3rd Degree. The warrant was issued after sheriff’s deputies and the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force responded to the address earlier on an unrelated incident.While there they allegedly discovered a methamphetamine lab. In addition to finding items used to make meth, authorities also collected more than eight ounces of methamphetamine oil.
Ellison was subsequently arraigned and committed to the Chautauqua County Jail pending further action of the court.
Meanwhile, deputies arrested 34 year-old Jesse Erhard of Stockton at about 8:45 p.m. Dec. 31 during a separate investigation into meth production. Erhard was arrested at his home at 4570 W. Railroad Ave. on a warrant. Investigators say the went to his home on Dec. 22 to serve an unrelated arrest warrant on another subject when they located items used to manufacture methamphetamine.
Erhard was arraigned in the Town of Stockton Court and then subsequently remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail on $25,000 cash bail or $50,000 property bond.
