MAYVILLE – The Virginia man found guilty of killing the superintendent of Clymer central school will be sentenced Monday in Chautauqua County Court.
Anthony “Rob” Taglianetti II is set to be sentenced this morning for the shooting death of Clymer Superintendent Keith Reed, Jr. back in September of 2012.
Taglianetti was convicted last November of second degree murder. During his trial, the prosecution was successful in making its case that he drove to Chautauqua County from Virginia to Reed after learning the victim was involved in an online relationship with his wife, Mary.
According to media reports, members of Reeds family sent letters to Judge John Ward and will be on hand to ask him to sentence Taglianetti to the maximum of life in prison.
