JAMESTOWN – The second teenage suspect involved in an alleged assault of two Jamestown teachers is now in police custody.
Jamestown police are reporting that the second teenager – whose name is not being released – was found Thursday afternoon hiding in a closet at his home. He had reportedly fled the academy shortly after Monday’s incident.
On Monday two 16-year-old students are accused of assaulting two instructors at Jamestown’s Raymond J. Fashano Technical Academy on Fourth St. The incident involved the instructors being struck in the face, with one instructor also being hit in the head with a metal clock that had been removed from the wall.
The instructors did seek medical attention on their own and were able to return to work the following day.
The other teenagers involved in the incident was arrested and charged on Monday. Both teens have been charged second-degree felony assault.
