CHERRY CREEK – Local authorities are continuing their search for a Jamestown man who was last seen on Wednesday, May 14.
According to a release from the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s office, deputies received a report on May 15 that 25 year-old Tyler Chase of Forest Ave. Ext. was missing. The report was filed by members of his family.
Chase’s vehicle was located at family residence on Cook Road in Cherry Creek but his whereabouts are unknown at this time. Investigators say the last contact with family or friends was 12:30 am on May 14.
Since being reported, authorities and rescue personnel have been searching for Chase in the Cherry Creek area. The search has been assisted by search crews from numerous voluntary fire departments, New York Forest Rangers, New York State Police and the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office.
A report from the Jamestown Post-Journal over the weekend also stated that Chase is facing several charges out of the state of Pennsylvania related to Child endangerment. Chase is accused of allegedly providing alcohol to two teenage females from the Warren area. He faces charges of interference with the custody of a child, corruption of a minor, endangering the welfare of a child and furnishing alcohol to minors. He is also facing charges in New York related to the alleged incidents.
Anyone with who may have seen Chase or have any information on his whereabouts is asked to contact the sheriff’s office.
