JAMESTOWN – The Roger Tory Peterson Institute will host an exhibition of the bird paintings of Melissa Mance-Coniglio starting Saturday and running through June 24, 2012. The exhibition will feature 50 original paintings and drawings of birds and their habitats, which convey Melissa’s deep respect for her subjects and sensitivity to their innate beauty. Also on display will be an outstanding selection of bird carvings done by her late father, James Mance, Sr.
An opening reception will be held tomorrow from 4 to 6 PM. Come, meet the artist, and enjoy refreshments while touring the show; reception free and open to the public.
