JAMESTOWN – Congressman Tom Reed (R-Corning, NY 23) will be in Jamestown Friday to discuss sexual assault and domestic violence.
The Corning Republican – who represents Chautauqua County in Washington – will be at the Salvation Army in Jamestown to meet with area leaders to discuss their work with victims of sexual assault and domestic violence and how to expand efforts to put an end to these crimes.
In March 2014 Reed made a speech on the House floor to talk about the importance of addressing the issue of sexual assault and domestic violence, noting it’s had a personal impact on his family with his niece being a victim of sexual assault.
