JAMESTOWN – Local residents who want to talk with Congressman Tom Reed in person and share their thoughts and concerns about what is happening in Washington will have an opportunity to do so on Saturday.
Weather permitting, Congressman Reed will hold three town hall meetings on Saturday, Dec. 16 with the first meeting taking place in Kennedy from 9 to 10 a.m. at the Kennedy Volunteer Fire Department’s Fire Hall.
A second town hall is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. in the north county at Silver Creek High school.
And the final town hall is set for 2 to 3 p.m. at Salamanca Village Hall Courtroom.
Because of the Lake Effect Storm Warning for our area, there is the possibility the town halls may have to be cancelled and/or rescheduled. However, Reed’s office tells WRFA that as of Friday morning the meetings are still on. Should they have to be cancelled, the office will notify the media as well as constituents via Facebook and on the congressman’s website.
