JAMESTOWN – Chautauqua County’s representative in Congress was in Jamestown Friday to hear from people and local officials directly involved with the battle against drug addiction.
Congressman Tom Reed (R-Corning) held an opioid abuse roundtable at the Mental Health Association in Chautauqua County on Water St. in Jamestown. The discussion featured nearly two dozen people, including local law enforcement, representatives from local health organizations, and the families of overdose victims.
Reed said he’ll use information from the roundtable to help strengthen support and resources in the battle against the heroin and opioid epidemic.

Rep Tom Reed never divulges his finds at meetings such as this. It’s one thing to have such meetings, but what does that tell constituents about their concerns?
