Red Cross ‘Hometown Hero’ Nominations Due April 1

JAMESTOWN – The Southwestern N.Y. Chapter of the American Red Cross is requesting nominations for this year’s Hometown Hero celebration.

Nominations are accepted for citizens in the following categories; Humanitarian, Firefighter, Law Enforcement, Emergency and Medical Personnel, Workplace, Youth, and Animal Rescue. Nomination forms will be accepted until April 1, 2014.

The Hometown Hero campaign was created to acknowledge the extraordinary actions of Chautauqua County citizens. This is the twelfth year that Hometown Heroes have been recognized by the American Red Cross Chapter in Chautauqua County.
