RANDOLPH – State Police in Jamestown arrested a Randolph couple on Drug charges following an investigation on Friday.
According to state police, officers stopped at a home at 210 Spring Street in the Village of Randolph to serve two arrest warrants to 40 year-old Juan DeJesus and 24 year-old Rachel Maynard – who were both wanted for 2nd degree Criminal Possession of Marihuana based on an arrest in February 2014 when approximately four pounds of marijuana was found in their residence.
While taking the two into custody, state police allegedly saw more marijuana in plain view. A Further investigation led to the discovery of over one pound of marijuana. Police say they also found chemical agents and equipment used to make methamphetamine.
DeJesus and Maynard were charged with Manufacturing Methamphetamine 3rd, Criminal Possession of Marihuana 2nd, and Endangering the welfare of a child.
They were both arraigned in the Town of Randolph Court and committed to Cattaraugus County Jail on $50,000 bail each.
