JAMESTOWN – The New York State Deputies Association (NYSDA) has endorsed Republican challenger James Quattrone in the race for Chautauqua County Sheriff.
The Deputies association works for all employees of sheriffs in New York State. This includes deputy sheriffs, correction officers, emergency service dispatchers, court security officers, and individuals holding many other sworn and civilian titles.
“NYSDA recognizes the importance of working together to solve various issues that the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office encounters. It is through collaboration both inside and outside the Sheriff’s Office that we will be able to effectively and efficiently provide the needed services to keep our community safe and secure,” Quattrone said. “My experience, training, and education has prepared me to effectively collaborate with our staff, outside agencies and organizations to work through issues that we face in Chautauqua County.”
Quattrone is facing long-time Democratic incumbent Sheriff Joe Gerace in this year’s election.
