JAMESTOWN – The president of the American Library Association, will deliver the 11th annual Murray L. Bob Memorial Lecture at 7 p.m. Tuesday Night, Oct. 20, in the Prendergast Library.
In addition to serving as ALA president, Sari Feldman is also the past president of the Public Library Association, the winner of its Charlie Robinson Award, and a published author of several books and articles about library issues.
She has been the executive director of the Cuyahoga County Public Library in Ohio since 2003. She is also an adjunct faculty member at the School of Information Studies at Syracuse University.
Feldman’s discussion will focus on the transformation of libraries in the 21st century. The lecture is free and open to the public.
