The James Prendergast Library in Jamestown
JAMESTOWN – Renovation work at the James Prendergast Library is now underway. On this week’s Community Matters program (June 19, 2014), we’ll talk with Prendergast Executive Director Tina Scott to get an update on the project, as well as learn more about the effort to safely remove and relocate two murals that have been displayed in the library for the past 50 years.
In addition, we’ll talk with local author Peter Lombardi, who’s written a new book about the history of City Planning and architecture in Jamestown.
