JAMESTOWN – Tina Scott, Executive Director of the James Prendergast Library Association, will speak at the AAUW Jamestown Branch meeting on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at 7 p.m. in the Fireplace Room of the James Prendergast Library, 509 Cherry Street, Jamestown. Scott’s topic will be 21st Century Public Libraries Meeting Community Needs. Join in the conversation with Scott and other community members to learn how public libraries are adapting in a digital world and responding to the changing educational needs of the people they serve.
The meeting is free and open to the public.
First time AAUW members who join at this event will receive the reduced membership rate of $33.25. Prospective members who support the AAUW mission and have an associate’s degree or higher are eligible for membership.
