JAMESTOWN – The James Prendergast Library Board of Trustees will hold its monthly meeting later today at the library. Library officials have not sent out an agenda for the meeting – even after being requested yesterday by WRFA – so it is not known to the public what items will be discussed or acted on.
VIEW MEETING AGENDA [revised: 8:10 a.m., Thursday May 17, 2012]
During last months meeting, library director Linda Mielke gave the board a proposed revision of the library’s patron behavior guidelines, which is expected to be voted on during this afternoon’s meeting. One of the revisions involves a new stipulation that library patrons may not “solicit, petition or distribute material inside or outside of the library that has not been approved by the library.”
The meeting will begin at 12:15 in the library Fireplace Room and is open to the public.
