JAMESTOWN – Members of the James Prendergast Library Board of Trustees, along with some staff members, will be meeting tonight for a refresher course on open meetings law. Starting at 7 p.m., Robert Freeman – who serves as the executive director of the State Committee on Open Government – will host a workshop on both state open meetings law and the Freedom of Information Law as it pertains to the library. Members of the Chautauqua-Cattaraugus library System board will also be in attendance. The meeting will be held in the library’s fireplace room.
