JAMESTOWN, NY – Jamestown police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a white male who allegedly made a threatening phone call to Jamestown Community College at about 1:50 p.m. Friday, Oct. 30.
According to a report from the Jamestown Police Department, an unknown white male made a threatening telephone call from the Prendergast Library to the JCC Campus.
The male reportedly then walked out of the Library and then south towards the downtown area of Jamestown. The subject (shown in above images) was wearing a yellow rain poncho / jacket and a blue knit hat with dark colored jeans and shoes.
Investigators are asking for assistance in identifying this suspect. Anyone who may know who this suspect is can call the Jamestown Police Department at 483-7537 or they can leave an anonymous tip at 483-Tips (8477).
All calls will be kept confidential.
As a precaution, Jamestown Community College has canceled all activities at the Jamestown Campus for the remainder of the day. Except for essential personnel, all students faculty and staff have been asked to leave.
