Police Release Name of Victim in Car-Pedistrian Accident

JAMESTOWN – Jamestown police have released the name of the man who was killed Monday night in a Car-Pedestrian accident. Officers say 43 year old Terry Harper died from injuries sustained when he reportedly walked out into the southbound lane of Washington Street at West 13th Street and into the path of a car. The incident took place at 9:12 p.m. Monday. Harper was transported to WCA Hospital where he later died. The driver of the car was uninjured.  Police are being assisted by the Chautauqua County Accident Reconstruction Team in investigating this accident.
