JAMESTOWN – Local police continue their fight into illegal drug trafficking in the city.
Last Thursday, police arrested 40 year-old Richard Riley of Sinclairville after a traffic stop found him to allegedly be in possession of more than an ounce of cocaine, along with two grams of heroin and a gram of methamphetamine. He also had a quantity of marijuana and an imitation pistol.
Also on Thursday night a separate traffic stop on Lakeview Ave. resulted in the discovery of more than 6.5 ounces of cocaine. Arrested was 45 year-old Cindy Frank of Jamestown.
On Friday morning, police executed a search warrant at 17 Norwood Ave. that resulted in the discovery of methamphetamine and prescription medications. Arrested was 28 year-old Andrew Bennett, 55 year-old David Hare, and 58 year-old Patricia Bargy.
Police say 28 year-old Destiny Franze-Hare was also found to be leaving the residence in a vehicle during the drug raid. She was taken into custody and the vehicle was later impounded and meth, prescription pills and LSD were reportedly found inside.
All six individuals were arrested on related charges and taken to the Jamestown City Jail to await arraignment.
