JAMESTOWN – A suspect believed to be involved in last week’s shooting incident in downtown Jamestown is now in police custody.
Jamestown police captain Robert Samuelson says investigators have identified at least one suspect believed to be involved in the incident and the person, whose name is not being released, is now in police custody on charges unrelated to the shooting.
During the incident that took place on Monday, Jan. 25, multiple shots were fired into a home at 411 E. 2nd street, with one of the bullets striking a 10 year-old child. The child was sent to Buffalo Children’s Hospital and was last listed in stable condition with non-life threatening injuries.
