JAMESTOWN – Local authorities have made another arrest involving the trafficking of heroin in the Jamestown area.
According to Jamestown City Police, officers were able to seize 260 doses of heroin and a large sum of cash during a three-pronged drug raid Wednesday at three separate residences all within a block of each other on Franklin Street. Police say a sawed-off shotgun was also found during the raid.
The raids took place at 52 Franklin St., 58 Franklin St. and 61 Franklin St.
Arrested and facing related charges were 37 year old Jose Sanquiche, 30 year old Juan Vargas-Lopez, 26 year old Stephanie Castro and 62 year-old Raul Rodriguez-Colon.
All four are currently awaiting arraignment in the city jail.
The investigation was a coordinated effort between the Jamestown Police Department and State Police.
