JAMESTOWN – Two Jamestown men wanted for burglarizing several homes on the area have been found and arrested.
The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office says 51 year-old William Lewis and 28 year-old Eric Lewis were both found Tuesday at a residence at 137 Prospect St. The arrest came less than a day after police send a release out to local media saying they were looking for the two men.
The two are accused of allegedly committing several daytime burglaries throughout October and into November in areas of southern Chautauqua County as well as in Warren County.
They were charged with three counts of second-degree burglary and sent to Chautauqua County Jail. Other charges are also pending.
The investigation was conducted by the Sheriff’s Office, Lakewood-Busti Police, Town of Ellicott police, and the Pennsylvania State Police.
