Pistol Packing Teens Charged Following Robbery

December 16, 2013 By WRFA Radio 1 Comment

JAMESTOWN – Two Jamestown teens have been charged with robbery and menacing following a hold-up that took place Saturday.

According to city police, an unidentified individual was walking on Tower St. near the intersection with Willard St. shortly before 11 p.m. Officers say two males in dark clothing approached the individual and showed a pistol and a knife while demanding money. Officers say one of the two also allegedly held the gun to the victim’s head while demanding the money. After taking small amount of cash, the two fled the scene and were later spotted by police.

The names of the two were not released, although police say both were 16 years old. They were both charged with first degree robbery and 2nd degree menacing and sent to the city jail to await arraignment.
