JAMESTOWN – The 1980 slasher film, Friday the 13th, shows Wednesday, October 28 at 7pm at Reg Lenna Center for The Arts. Admission is $5.
In Friday the 13th, Camp Crystal Lake has been shuttered for over 20 years due to a young boy drowning and several vicious and unsolved murders. The camp’s new owner and several young counselors are readying the property for re-opening despite warnings of a “death curse” by local residents. The curse proves true on Friday the 13th as one by one each of the counselors is stalked by a violent killer. Friday the 13th is rated R and is 95 minutes long.
The last film in the Nights of the Living Reg series will be The Rocky Horror Picture Show (10/30 at 10pm). Other movies coming soon include Warren Miller’s Chasing Shadows (11/4 at 7pm), Black Mass (11/7 at 8pm), The Martian (11/14 at 8pm) and Elf (12/5 at 4pm).
